I fear when this admin "thinks". Usually that ends up in a dire situation. We have already proven that we really don't know squat about rebuilding a country in this particular region. Iraq is no closer to being "rebuilt" than they were a month after Bush declared the Iraq war ended. 15,000 people have died in Iraq this year, over a 100 a day, and Lebanon is headed in the same direction. I know this administration has had this planned for years and have known for 3 years about Israel's detailed plans on attacking Lebanon, but once again, I think they botched it so badly that it won't even benefit them, let alone the rest of the world. Short sided is an understatement as to describing their thinking. They are about to lose their only allies in the middle east, other than Israel, because the Saudi's, Jordan, and Egypt are pissed.

Sigh..."I got a bad feeling". In six months to a year we will have two rogue countries filled with angry Muslims strategically situated adjacent to Syria and Iran. Move a little further east and you have Afghanistan where Taliban strongholds are gaining momentum as their democratic elections are a sham. A little bit further east you have North Korea. Get my drift? I feel like I am writing a Tom Clancy novel.
