Snoopy vs. Red Baron from that Classic Peanuts Christmas Special
I remember being a kid and every Christmas looking forward to the Peanuts Christmas special. If I remember correctly, it always started at 8pm, and every kid at school would talk about it for days in advance. Those were the days before Tivo, when folks had to look forward to television specials. REmember those days? The days of the television mini-series and made-for-TV movie?
All that's changed now. We have Tivo, which I'll add is perhaps the greatest invention since ... since the television, but I miss those days of everyone in America collectively looking forward to a big TV event. Now, what I'll probably end up doing is turning on the TV on Dec. 27th and clicking the Tivo to play back the Peanuts Christmas special at 3am.
