Softdrink maker ships 20,000 cans of Surge to Iraq
It seems like few people outside the White House like the idea of a potential troop surge in Iraq. Bush floated the idea a couple weeks ago as a way to test it in public, to see how folks would react to the notion of a troop increase. Right away there were reports that even military commanders were saying a surge would actually increase the risk to U.S. soldiers while accomplishing nothing. We're just days away from the president's "NEW DIRECTION IN IRAQ" tour... If anyone's going to come up with a solution for Iraq, something tells me it won't be President Bush.
